지혜의 시작

[한몸사역을 위해 기도해 주세요]   지혜의 시작 하나님을 두려워하는 것은 두 가지 측면이 있다. 하나는 그분을 높이는 것이다. 그것은 하나님의 지극히 거룩하심에 대하여 경외심을 가지는 것이다. 그것은 절대적인 주권자의 존재를 경외할 때 나타나는 것으로 존경과 경의를 표하는 것 이다. 다른 하나는 하나님께 호의를 얻지 못할까 하는 두려움이다. 징계와 징벌 그리고 심판의 권리가 모두 하나님께 있음을 인정하는 것이 진정한 믿음이다. - 존 맥아더 Fearing God has two aspects. The first is reverence. It is a sacred awe of God's utter holiness. It involves the kind of respect and veneration that results in fear in the presence of such absolute majesty. The second aspect is fear of God's displeasure.
